After your order is placed, depending on the growth cycle of the produce, your produce is harvested within 10 days (often sooner). After harvest all microgreens are bathed in a Himalayan salt bath, then dried; this adds almost 1-2 weeks of additional shelf life when refrigerated.

Then you take a cooler and leave it on your doorstep (no ice required), you will receive an expected email on when to do this sent when your order is complete, and the day before we will schedule the delivery. If you don't have a cooler you can buy a Yum Yum Greens branded cooler at checkout.

When transporting the veggies, we keep them refrigerated. Next the veggies are delivered to your doorstep cooler (we add ice), the day they are harvested, or within 1 day, to make sure they are as fresh as possible. If no cooler is there, and no cooler was purchased, we will leave the veggies on the doorstep and let you know in the delivery email.

After delivery you will receive an automated email, letting you know your freshly harvested greens were delivered.
